FUNDRAISING

it's only part of what we do - but everything we do depends on it!

It is thanks to the generosity of our community that our services can remain free.

About half our total running costs are provided by the Government each year; the other half, over $3million, is raised by the Funding Team with the help of the community.

We are proud to be regarded as one of Wellington's most loved and trusted charities and this is reflected in our fundraising practices:

• We keep our fundraising expenses well within industry guidelines
• We carry out our own fundraising supported by volunteers
• We do not employ fundraising companies or pay commission, we do not engage telemarketing organisations or undertake door to door collecting.
  

Become a supporter
Your organisation may become a supporter of the Hospice. You may wish to make a donation or there are many other ways you could raise money such as through staff programmes, holding an event, having a "Time to Remember" dinner, donating money in lieu of corporate Christmas gifts, selling an item.

Make a bequest in your Will
Making a bequest to Mary Potter Hospice is a wonderful way to continue your support beyond your lifetime.

Committed Giving Club
You can make regular donations directly from your bank account or credit card to support the work of the Hospice. You can start regular donations from your credit card through our online donation facility here or download an Automatic Payment Form to make donations from your bank account.

Mary Potter Hospice has five pre-loved goods shops that you can visit, volunteer for, or donate goods to.

You can make a donation by credit card at our secure online donation page hosted by Credit Card Guard:

You can make an online donation from your bank account, using the Bill Payment section of your bank. Mary Potter Hospice is registered with major banks as a pre-loaded Bill Payee. Use your bank's search function to find "Mary Potter Hospice" or "The Mary Potter Hospice Foundation".

You can make a donation by cheque or credit card, either by post or fax, by printing this donation form and sending it to the Hospice.
